Late afternoon winter sun at Bognor Regis

£90.00£350.00

Here’s one that I’m very pleased with. I was excited about painting this before I even started it. Something about the composition and colours that animated me, and I thoroughly enjoyed painting it.

I took an age painting the foreshore. Each pebble a separate point of colour individually applied. Slow, but intensely satisfying.

I feel this is one of the best paintings I’ve done in a while.

Description

Late afternoon winter sun at Bognor Regis (A3 Acrylic, on acrylic board) (Unframed)

I had a couple of days in Bognor with sketch book and camera early in the year. It was biting cold, but clear and sunny. Perfect for walking and snapping, less suitable for sitting and sketching. The fingers got very cold.

I hope that you like it.
