Lymington Quay (2)

£90.00£350.00

This is a scene I pass every morning on my daily walk, and I’ve now done several paintings either of the Quay/Harbour, or other aspects of the waterfront, usually with the Island ferry making its way either out of or onto it’s berth.

This one features mostly the fishing boat ‘Obsession’ which I did a more detailed painting of some months ago. This is a wider vista and a more general harbour scene.

Description

Lymington Quay (2) (A3 Acrylic, on acrylic board) (Unframed)

This is a scene I pass every morning on my daily walk, and I’ve now done several paintings either of the Quay/Harbour, or other aspects of the waterfront, usually with the Island ferry making its way either out of or onto it’s berth.

This one features mostly the fishing boat ‘Obsession’ which I did a more detailed painting of some months ago. This is a wider vista and a more general harbour scene.

I dislike the new buildings to the left. They are a blot on the skyline and a great shame, and they mar what is otherwise a fine scene.

I am pleased with my treatment of the water, and with the general composition.

Make an offer. Local scene!
