Norwich Market Place (3)
(acrylic on water colour paper (210mm x 297mm)
This picture is what I fondly call a ‘quickie’. It was painted for my delightful Goddaughter, who lives in Madrid, and who for many years, like me, has been estranged from the city of Norwich. Also like me she misses very much the city where she was born and grew up.
Knowing that I was making one of my regular trips to the City of Norwich, she asked me if I would do her a painting. This is it. Maybe one day, if I have more time, I will do a larger one for her, perhaps an oil that will take longer to paint, although in fairness she does already have one or two other paintings that I have done for her, though perhaps not of Norwich.
